About Bridge Builder
Build a bridge across the gap on a budget, then drive a truck over it. The forces are really calculated, so beams glow as they strain and snap when you ask too much of them.
Ankhdase tracks 3 distinct skills in Bridge Builder, including Forces & structures, Design & build and Spatial reasoning. How to play
- Drag from one grey dot to another to lay a beam. Each beam costs from your budget.
- Press Test the bridge and a truck drives across, stopping at every joint.
- Blue beams are being pulled apart, orange ones squashed. The thicker the line, the harder it is working.
- A beam carrying too much snaps. Triangles spread the load; squares fold.
- The road has to be joined all the way across or the truck will not set off.
